Favorite festival

We are still excited and bragging about our "Favorite Festival Award" [see "Readers Choice Awards," October 2005, page 21]. It surely has made many new friends for the Mossy Creek Festival. Many tell us about seeing it in your magazine. These are Georgians who come from near and far. We will never cease to be grateful to you for all the pleasure you bring us through your information on special people, places and events in Georgia that we have missed -- even as native Georgians.

One "must-eat-at restaurant" in LaGrange [see "Off the beaten path," April 2006, page 28] is St. John's Place "A Taste of Lemon Restaurant" located in a renovated Methodist Church building. There are children waiting

I wanted to tell you how fabulous the article was that you did, I can't tell you how much I appreciated it [see "Fostering hope," May 2006, page 23]. We got a lot of phone calls from it and from many people who want to be foster parents. It made a difference in the lives of a lot of children. I just wanted to say thank you very much!
