Through da Vinci’s imagination
Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci foresaw the armored tank, helicopter, flying machines and parachute?
In addition to being a painter, da Vinci’s technical and scientific drawings have captured the imagination for centuries. Now modern-day visitors to Fort Discovery National Science Center in Augusta can get an up-close look at 16 of da Vinci’s conceptual drawings along with how his ideas came to life as a part of their Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci exhibit, running through Oct. 11.
For more information, visit nationalsciencecenter.org or call (706) 821-0607.
